Hello! My name is Anna Larsen, and I am the Vice President of Recruitment for Pi Alpha Chi. I am currently a sophomore studying Psychology on a Pre-OT track and minoring in Communication Studies. The women of Pi Alpha Chi are so thrilled to welcome you to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the Greek community! You are looking at the best four years of your life with so many amazing opportunities that UNL has to offer you. When I came to UNL all the way from my hometown in Illinois, joining Greek Life was initially not a part of my plan. However, as I progressed through my freshman year, I kept an open mind and happened to stumble upon Pi Chi. The more I learned about the strong values and women within this sisterhood, I just knew that I could find a treasured home for myself in Pi Chi. I joined as soon as I could the following year! Ever since, I’ve found myself among the most genuine, caring, driven, friendly, and intelligent women I have ever met. Pi Alpha Chi is truly a sisterhood with open arms willing to help and support each other at all costs, and I can't imagine my college experience without it. As you undertake the search for your home at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I urge you to keep an open mind and heart during your week of recruitment. Look for women that empower you and inspire you to reach your goals. Seek women who have similar values as you do, who will support you to become who you envision yourself to be, and with whom you will build lifelong friendships. The women of the Alpha Chapter of Pi Alpha Chi are excited for you to find a community that has all of this. We can't wait to see you all in the fall!
